A recycled gold-mirrored plastic lid and gold-matte plastic bottom with a snap enclosure. The bottom has a gold sticker in the center with the name of the color shade and some company information in black. The UPC barcode is on the back as well. The lid has a clear plastic center which allows you to see the color. The name of the brand is in gold on the lid. It has a security plastic wrap that needs to be removed prior to use.

Milani Cosmetic's describes 01 - Bella Ivory as an 'ivory satin matte'. It is a pale pinkish nude that has a slight shimmer in a satin finish.

There is a slight shimmer in this eyeshadow. A little bit of fallout was experienced if not applied by wetting your brush or using your finger. Overall Thoughts:

The Milani Cosmetic's Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow has 31 different shades in this collection. The shade 01 - Bella Ivory is a very light pink nude that has a beautiful slight shimmery sheen to it. Although it is more of a satin than a matte, Bella Ivory is one of the softer finishes in the Milani Cosmetics Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow line. This shadow worked best when used with either a primer and/or dampened synthetic brush which allowed keeping the fall out to a minimum. The gel to powder formulation allows for a smooth application that is very blendable and works well with other eyeshadows from other companies. I had to use a dampened brush to get the color to build a bit but then again I am very fair to light skin complexion. To date, I have used this eyeshadow as a transition shade, to highlight my brow bone, for a minimal barely there makeup look and even for an inner eye corner highlight. You can even get away with using Bella Ivory as a cheek highlighter. Even though the color is very naturally subtle, there is some good color payoff. Bella Ivory lasted about 6.5 hours before I noticed it slightly fading but it never creased nor transferred. There is a slight powdery smell detected.
