Milani Cosmetics' Color Statement Lipsticks currently includes 32 different shades. The Color Statement Lipstick in the shade 46 - Power Pink was added to the collection back on January 2015. This color definitely embraces its name. It is a bold hot pink with purplish undertones that screams power. The satin sheen finish formula is very moisturizing and creamy that will not dry your lips out. The lipstick formula is infused with both Vitamin A and C which nourishes and leaves the lips feeling hydrated with a flawless smooth application. Due to the finish, you may need to apply a few layers to get that powerful bold color but all in all there is great pigmentation that is true to color shade. There is no feathering or bleeding of this color but there is a slight transferring upon drinking or kissing. You will also notice a slight smudging if come into contact with any deep pressure. Upon removal of Power Pink, I did notice a bit of a stain on the lips but does come off with a deeper cleaning. The only thing that bothers me is the smell and taste. It reminds me of those cheap Dr. Pepper chapsticks from my middle school days. I am also that girl that cannot stomach the taste of Dr. Pepper so I am probably a bit bias. I love the affordable price with amazing quality in such a xuxi golden packaging. I will definitely be repurchasing this shade in the future as well as hunting down the other colors from this collection.
