"Begin applying from the center of your upper lips and work your way to the outer edges. Same application is used for your bottom lips.
Tip: Lipliner helps extend the wear & keeps your lipstick from feathering. When choosing a lipliner shade, match the lipliner to your lipstick shade or match your lipliner to the shade of your lips which will work with all your lipstick shades. Create a custom lipcolor by using a contrasting lipliner and lipstick shade."

Cons
|
- Cruelty Free
- Cute luxurious packaging
- Watermelon smell and taste
- It feels lightweight on your lips so you can definitely use this on a daily basis.
- Affordable
- Creamy moisturising formula that does not dry out your lips
- Buildable which comes in handy since it is a cream finish
- Great pigmentation
- Smooth Application
- Color payoff is true to the color sample and what you see in the tube
- No feathering
- Long wearing - about 5 hours which included drinking and eating before having to reapply
|
- A slight bit of color transfer when drinking so I suggest using a straw when drinking.
- If you are sensitive to smell, definitely not a color shade for you.
- Slight trace of a stain when removed
- There is some smudging if anything comes into deep pressure contact with this formulation seeing as it truly doesn't completely dry.
- Packaging can get covered in fingerprints due to the mirrored plastic.

Overall Thoughts:
Milani Cosmetics Color Statement Lipstick collection is currently available in 32 different shades. The Color Statement Lipstick in the shade 11 - Fruit Punch made its debut back in Spring 2013. Although Milani Cosmetics does describe this color as a 'bright pink', I feel this color is suited more for those that do love a pink lip look but are scared of doing a bold bam in your face shade and are looking for an everyday subtle pink. If that is what you are looking for, then this shade is definitely for you. Fruit Punch is an affordable yet very pigmented color that applies extremely smooth due to its creamy moisturizing formula. Throughout the day, it truly never felt heavy on my lips but more like a a nourishing balm. This shade lasted about 5 hours before having to be reapplied. I did not experience any feathering but did notice a bit of color transfer onto a cup that I was drinking from and a bit of staining once I removed the color. Even after I did remove Fruit Punch from my lips, they felt extremely moisturizing. If you are someone that is sensitive to the smell of watermelon, then I wouldn't recommend this color to you. I did not feel the smell was that overpowering and I tend to feel like I suffer from the bloodhound nose syndrome. It is a blessing and curse in disguise. I will be repurchasing this shade as well as trying to hunt down the rest in this collection.
