Overall Thoughts:
The Rimmel London ScandalEyes Waterproof Kohl Liner is available in 8 different shades which can be purchased at different third party retailers. If you are like me which I like to think that if you are reading this you probably are, you have been desperately searching high and low for the 005 - Nude. This shade has been sold out and all my regular hotspots. Finally, I found it at Walgreens and thought I had scored the jackpot. I suffer from really bad allergies and have been trying out waterproof eyeliners like they are going out of style. To date, I have not found one. So when I saw several fellow bloggers out there speaking about the wonders of how brightening this shade was it immediately became a must find. When I read the Rimmel London website stating this eyeliner was waterproof, smudge-proof, sweat-proof, heat-proof, and humidity-proof, I screamed in glory to the mighty heavens. Don't get me wrong the color is gorgeous but it is not waterproof by any means. This lasted about 1.5 hours on several occasions and collected in the corners of the eyes. It definitely brightens and opens up your eyes. This nude kohl liner is super pigmented and applies like a dream but I feel this might be the reason why it melts away on the waterline so quickly. I had better luck when I decided to use this kohl liner for an eyeshadow base, to carve out my eyebrows, and for an upper eyeliner. It did last longer and it did not crease. Another reason I wasn't a fan is since the pencil is wooden it required sharpening and this turned into a nightmare for me. The creaminess of the kohl liner smeared over the sharpener and it got stuck. I really wanted to love this cause when it is freshly applied it is stunning but I am not huge on to having to reapply my liner several times throughout the day. Unfortunately, I can't return this item to Walgreens but I will be trying out the other shades to see how they hold up.
