Overall Thoughts:
Milani Cosmetics is hands down my favorite affordable eyeshadow brand at the drugstore and definitely has beat out some high-end brand contenders. There are 31 shades in the current collection. This Bella Eyes Gel Powder Eyeshadow in 16 - Bella Champagne made its debut sometime in 2014. Bella Champagne is very true to its formula description. This gel to powder formulation allows for a smooth application despite when touching the shade in the pan as being a bit rough. With time and use, the roughness does become smoother. The eyeshadow is blendable and buildable. You can work your way from a beautiful sheen shimmer finish to a intense metallic finish that just pops. Since I have been on a decluttering spree, I have found that you can use Bella Champagne for more than just a eyeshadow. To date, I have used it for a cheek highlighter, inner eye corner highlight and a brow bone highlight. In the pan, the color does look darker and glittery but it is true to the color description provided by Milani. I did not detect any scent upon opening the compact. This eyeshadow is lightweight and long-wearing. I got about 8.5 hours before the shadow began to fade. I did not experience any creasing but I did use the Too Faced eyeshadow primer and MAC fix plus to intensify the look. I did this because when I used it dry with a brush I did experience a bit of fall out and some glitter transfer. Although I do love the golden packaging, I do feel they are a bit bulky for traveling and would prefer a palette. I will be repurchasing Bella Champagne once I hit pan and we are currently in the process of trying to find all 31 shades to review them all. What shades from this collection have you tried out? Let us know your thoughts.
